Tech.Pass
A specialised pass for established tech founders, leaders, and experts entering Singapore's tech ecosystem.
Tech.Pass is a specialised 2-year work pass administered by EDB for top-tier tech professionals - founders, senior leaders, and experts. Unlike the EP, Tech.Pass is not tied to a single employer; holders can run a business, work for multiple employers, mentor, invest, or lecture. Eligibility requires meeting at least 2 of 3 criteria: fixed monthly salary of at least S$30K in the year before application, leadership of a tech company with at least US$500M valuation or US$30M raised, or 5+ years of experience in a leading product/service with 100K+ users or US$100M+ revenue.
A founder who previously led product at a US$1B-valued startup and earns US$25K/month qualifies for Tech.Pass on the leadership and salary criteria, allowing them to run a Singapore startup without an EP.
