A 3-year employer-agnostic pass for high-earning EP holders or overseas professionals.

Definition

The Personalised Employment Pass (PEP) is a 3-year work pass for high-earning professionals, not tied to a specific employer. Eligibility requires a fixed monthly salary of at least S$22,500 (overseas applicants) or S$18,000 (existing EP holders). PEP holders can change jobs without re-applying, take time between jobs (with a 6-month maximum unemployment), and engage in business activities. The PEP cannot be renewed - holders must transition to ONE Pass or revert to a regular EP at end of term.

An EP-holding finance director earning S$20K/month upgrades to a PEP, allowing them to leave their employer to start a fund management firm without re-applying for a new pass.
