Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority

Singapore's national regulator for businesses, public accountants, and corporate service providers.

Definition

The Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) is the statutory board under the Ministry of Finance responsible for regulating business entities, public accountants, and Corporate Service Providers (CSPs) in Singapore. ACRA administers the Companies Act, the Business Names Registration Act, and the Limited Liability Partnerships Act. All Singapore companies must file with ACRA at incorporation and lodge annual returns and other prescribed filings via the BizFile+ portal.
