The main grant programmes

Startup SG Founder

Up to S$50,000 in matching funding (3:1 match — you contribute S$10K, government adds S$40K). For first-time founders who are Singapore Citizens or PRs with at least 30% stake, incorporated less than 2 years ago.

Market Readiness Assistance (MRA)

Up to 50% of qualifying costs (capped at S$100,000 per 3-year period) for overseas market entry. For SMEs with at least 30% Singapore equity, ≤200 employees or ≤S$100M revenue, and a credible overseas expansion plan.

Enterprise Development Grant (EDG)

Up to 50% funding support for capability development, innovation, and internationalisation projects. For Singapore companies with ≥30% local equity operating for at least 6 months, with the financial capacity to fund the remaining 50%.

SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC)

S$10,000 one-off credit for workforce training and upskilling. Available to employers with at least 3 Singapore Citizens or PRs on CPF contributions for at least 3 months. Usable for approved SkillsFuture and workforce transformation programmes.
